We Were Always Here: A Mexicn American's Odyssey

The Border Patrol Wall

In 1994, about 4,200 U.S. Border Patrol agents were stationed along the border with Mexico.

By 2023, that number had swelled to around 16,000 agents.

In 1994, the best guesses of experts placed the number of undocumented immigrants in the U.S. at around 3.5 million.

Estimates in 2023 suggested that number had grown to around 11 to 12 million.

Are agents being outfoxed or are they insufficiently skilled?

The wall fanatics ought to ask themselves that question.
